As an individual in recovery from an eating disorder (ED), I have a monthly series on this blog about what life is really like with ED. I want to bridge the gap and reduce the stigma between those who have suffered and the general population. If we can all be a little more empathetic and aware of those around us, then recovery can truly become a possibility.
Every day is an opportunity to learn something new about a friend, a place, yourself and everything in between. Through my nutrition knowledge, my love of exercise and the outdoors, my investigations and my interactions with friends, family and strangers of all types and my hopefully not too obnoxious commentary I hope to make every visit to this blog werth your while.
I am in the process of setting up my own counseling business in Connecticut for those who need to reestablish a good relationship with food.
